Accommodation

5 berths in three cabins, 2  Baby Blake heads with showers, galley and bosuns locker, Huge amounts of storage lockers all over the boat. Pressurised Hot water is provided by a calorifier unit and immersion heater unit using shore power. Ebespacher warm air heating DL5 with thermostats in each living area.   Forward cabin with twin berths and infill to make a double, storage and chain locker, Heads with shower, Moving aft to full width galley  with 2 stainless steel sinks, Hot & Cold pressurised water , Large top loading refrigerator with ice compartment,  Taylor 41 cooker with 2 rings, Hot plate, oven & grill.   Up to main saloon with Chart table to port looking forward, Inside steering position with helmsman's seat to starboard, engine instrumentation and controls, electric window wiper unit, Main seating unit with drop leaf table to port with additional seating to starboard. Down starboard passage to aft cabin with transverse double bed, heads and shower to port  off aft cabin. Huge Bosuns locker behind the heads. Along the passage below the cockpit sole is what can only be described as a huge wardrobe with loads of storage. From main saloon up to after cockpit with second steering position and repeater instruments. 

Mechanical and Rigging

A new Perkins M90 82Hp diesel engine was fitted with a 72c Borg warner gearbox with Stainless steel propshaft to a 3 bladed prop, The raw water intake is easily accessible in the engine room and has a transparent filter bowl to check for debris. Single lever engine controls are mounted at each steering position. The steering is Wagner hydraulic with an emergency tiller system directly onto the rudder stock which then passes up through the rear deck plate.   Electrical   6 batteries are fitted in two banks  (4 domestic 160Amp/Hr and 2 engine 110Amp/Hr ) connected by a standard isolator switch. A 1500 watt Inverter unit is also fitted together with a Newmar 40Amp charger unit. The whole boat is run at 24V . Dimmer switches are provided in the main saloon and aft cabin for night sailing. Standard Navigation lights are fitted together with ample lights in all cabins and passageways. A 240v Ring main is fitted throughout  the boat with shore power unit and RCD unit for additional safety Fans are fitted to the galley, heads and engine compartment. Fuel & Water   1 x 160 gallon steel fuel tank is mounted transversely across the rear of the engine room with a sight tube fuel gauge. Two  160 gallon Stainless steel water tanks are mounted port and starboard in the engine room . A 35 gallon holding tank is also fitted.  All winches are Andersen self tailing units,  2 x 54 , 2 x 28, 3 x 40 , A lofrans 1500watt electric anchor winch is also fitted,  Sheet travellers are adjustable lewmar units which give plenty of scope to get the sheeting angles just right for the headsails. All  control lines are lead aft to the cockpit for the single line reefing system. Barton lazyjack systems for sail handling are fitted to both masts. The masts are aluminium sailspar and each has mast steps fitted at 15 inch centres Stainless steel rigging is fitted one size larger than specified, Stainless steel  pulpit extending to bowsprit and main mast safety frames are fitted. The pushpit has been topped with teak and has two corner seats built in and a gangway entry point at the centre rear. All stainless steel stansions are machine screwed to deck plates ( There are very few  through deck fittings ) Sails are by Gowen and consist of main mizzen and two roller furling foresails All the saloon deck windows have de-mountable external storm shutters.
