The Beneteau Oceanis 40 was built to a Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design and has been one of the best selling models of Beneteau's Oceanis range in recent times. With a twin helm steering position sailing this 40 footer is very easy as the helms vision is aided when underway due to the outboard nature of the steering positions. Access to the yacht is very easy from astern passing through the transom lifting seat arrangement. Below deck is a luxurious interior designed by Nauta Design, complete with alpi mahogany woodwork and fabric upholstery. Ventilation and light are a key design feature with natural light being reflected throughout the yacht. She has a 3 cabin/two heads layout and can comfortably berth 7 passengers or crew. The layout comprises of one large forward cabin and two symmetrical aft cabins. Saloon table to starboard compliments the linear galley allowing a good size chart table to port.

This boat is a fine example of the Beneteau Oceanis 40 she has been well looked after by her owners who have had her from her new having sailed her around Anglesey and the Irish Sea. Viewing is highly recommended for this yacht.

A well laid out three cabin two heads version. Layout consists of two symmetrical double aft cabins with one double forward cabin.
Forward cabin with access to the fore washroom. Inclusive of a Double bed with marine mattress (2.00m x 1.75m x 0.44m) and plenty of storage space such as a hanging locker, storage lockers and a storage drawer. 1.89m headroom
2 double aft cabins with a double bed and marine mattress (2.00m x 1.53m x 1.33m) with a hanging locker and closed cubby holes. 1.89 headroom

Forward washroom, access through the foreward cabin. Manual marine toilet, washbasin with hot and cold pressurised water and good size storage facilities.
Aft head compartment with access through the saloon and starboard aft cabin. Separate shower, marine manual toilet, 1 rigid holding tank (80l) and storage facilities.

L-shaped galley to port with white laminated work top and the kitchen along the hull.
The galley is inclusive of:
A stainless steel sink with two rectangular basins and hot and cold pressured tap.
A gas stainless steel cooker with two hobs and a oven on mountings.
170 liter ice box, top opening in a 12V refridgeration unit.

A good sized saloon to starboard with a headroom of 1.95m. The luxurious interior flows right through and the U-shaped saloon bench leaves plenty of room for entertaining guests. Beneteau have utilised the space well with plenty of storage under the bench seats and in the cubby hole lockers along the hull.
