Broker Remarks

The Beneteau Oceanis 40 Yacht, 2011 model. This Beneteau 40 was the best-selling model for Beneteau's recent Oceanis series of cruising sailboats. This one-owner, 2-Cabin/1-head version is in near perfect condition with low engine hours and very light use. Factory upgrades include the Elegance Trim Pack, Easy Docking Pack, Electronics Pack, Bowthruster, In-Mast furling mainsail, heating plus much more. Lying Deganwy Marina, North Wales - Viewing highly recommended.

The Beneteau Oceanis 40 Sailing Yacht has a luxurious interior with a design that is completely devoted to space within its cabins and overhead compartments. The exterior styling for the Oceanis 40 centres on a ‘Targa’ cabin roof line style with integrated pilothouse feel and large sunroofs. An Oceanis 40 has a single skinned GRP design with a reinforced bonding and laminated inner moulding. This allows the hull structure to absorb stress at key points of the yacht hull such as the keel, chain plates and rudder attachment points.

A twin steering station makes access to the yacht when stern berthed very easy, it also aids vision when sailing. Starboard positioning of engine controls along with instruments are then duplicated on the port side. Integrated into her design is a column-mounted compass at both steering positions. With an ergonomic sailing design, this Oceanis 40 sailing boat also offers a communal feel onboard as her two-cabin design has a U-shaped galley and a walkthrough dinette, making it feel more open and accessible for family users. As she is a two-cabin version this Oceanis 40 has only one head, but it's huge and has a separate shower section. The head room within this model averages around 1.9m. Her interior cabin also has a design with added flair with strip-planked soles in contrasting timbers or with simulated caulking.

This Beneteau Oceanis 40 yacht is a ergonomic sailing boat with a coach house that has a recess integrated into the design that creates a haven for sailors adjusting the mainsail controls. Sail control lines (Including one-line reefing) also lead to the same station area. Headsail sheets are led to the aft of the boat that can be handled easily by the helmsman if needed.  Ventilation and light has been a key consideration into the design of the Oceanis 40 with 24 sources of natural light and 14 deck lights. Whilst running engine noise on deck and also in the main cabin area is extremely low at cruising revs, with minimal vibration. All the above makes the Beneteau Oceanis 40 Yacht a serious contender if your looking for a serious yacht.
