'Gewntan' a Beneteau Oceanis 331 Clipper lifting keel cruising yacht is for sale in Lymington . Justfiably the Beneteau 331 is one of the most popular Beneteau cruising yachts ever produced. She offers excellent performance along with versatile, comfortable and practical living space.
Her solid build and efficient deck and sail layout means she is safe and easy to handle on both long passages as well as day and weekend sails.
Gwentan is a very very good example of a Beneteau 331. She has been looked after meticulously by her current owner . Who has continually upgraded her and is well equiped for cruising including a new high quality cockpit cover. The Benetau Oceanis Clipper comes with a hot water system and two showers. She has heating with six outlets. Her galley is equiped with a oven,grill and two burner stove as well as a fridge. All these features give a comfortable happy cruising base.
She is the popular three cabin version and will sleep up to 8. Her large saloon and cockpit are both very spacious and allows the crew to enjoy their sailing in comfort and gives plenty of scope for entertaining.
Gwentan also benefits from having a lifting Keel which gives a minimum draft of .9m. She is able to explore the furthest reaches of the UK's many hidden anchorages and can be moored on more economical swinging and drying moorings.
This also gives her the advantage of being able to take the ground , so drying harbours and anchorages are perfect for her. Mid season cleaning and maintenance can be be easily carried out without need of a lift out.
Accommodation
The Beneteau 331 provides very comfortable and spacious living accomodation for extended cruising. The interior has masses of storage and is pleasantly done out in quality joinery. Gwentan's upholstery is in good clean condition. She sleeps up to 8 in three cabins. The spacious forward double cabin includes a hanging locker and shelf storage. The large saloon area holds twin berths and the large folding table seats 8 comfortably.
The heads has a hot shower and vanity cupboard and a wet hanging area for oilskins.
The galley is practically laid out with a full oven , grill and two burners , a fridge , stainless steel sink, dry storage cupboards and ample work space.
The chart table is amidships rear facing and well laid out for the most discerning navigator.
The two rear double berths both have hanging lockers and shelf storage and have full height standing room.
The addition of a full cockpit cover has extened this Beneteau 331's living area and provides a great evening entertain space when the weather does not cooperate.
