Broker Remarks

Bavaria 38 Ocean for sale.  This is a boat designed for cruising and equipped for the Med.  Inner stay-sail and running backstays were installed in 2010, along with a removable bow sprit for the assymetric cruising chute.  Room in the cockpit to seat six passengers, and enough length for a 6-footer to stretch out for a nap.  With 16" of pathway between the teak toerail and the cabin trunk, movement fore and aft is easy.  In-mast furling mainsail.  The bow area has a chain locker large enough for the electric winch, as well as 100 metres of  chain, and rope.  The stainless steel double bow roller is designed to cantilever downwards when the anchor is lowered.  This simplifies the task whilst avoiding damage to the gelcoat.  The stern is designed for the casual cruiser with a two-step swim platform equipped with a stainless steel ladder hinged to go in the water, and a shower.

Equipment includes, holding tank, Webasto heating, bimini, dinghy, outboard, radar, WiFi access point and AIS receiver.  Spacious accommodation below with owners cabin taking the full width of the boat. Full refit and enhancements made 2009/2010 for offshore sailing prior to two year Mediterranean tour.  In current ownership for 11 years, one previous owner.
