Broker Remarks

The Bavaria 32 is a family cruiser with wonderfully spacious accommodation. This great example has been carefully looked after and is presented for sale in nice condition. Shoal fin keel version (1.50m) with wheel steering.  Her current owners purchased her in 2013 and have since lavished attention to detail in her maintenance and renewal including new saildrive gaiter (2013 and April 2018) and regular engine servicing, new mainsail and furling genoa  in 2014

Accommodation

The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation.  There is full standing headroom of 6ft and excellent ventilation throughout.  

In the forecabin, good sized V berth with stowage under.  Opening hatch to deck. 2 Hanging lockers.  In the saloon, there are two settee berths with opening hatch to deck. It has a   fixed table with two drop leafs.  Chart table with galley opposite.  The galley has a two-burner Techimpex gimballed gas cooker with oven and grill updated October 2013.  Stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water system, 12v refrigerator and lots of storage space.  There is a 150-litre freshwater tank  

Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet shower with electric pump out and washbasin. The head has a 45-litre holding tank with a tank/sea diverter and electric pump out. Wet hanging locker.  The Aft cabin with double berth and hanging locker.

The cockpit is large for a boat of its size and has one very large locker and a gas locker and various storage lockers with a central steering binnacle with folding wheel. There is a laguna mounting for the Teak cockpit table

Located behind the companionway, Volvo MD2020 three cylinder 19hp diesel engine.  Electric start.  Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger.  Saildrive to two bladed fixed propeller coated aluminium with rope cutter.  90 litre plastic fuel capacity giving approximately 250 mile range at 5 knot cruising speed,  Maximum speed under power 6 knots.  Single lever control.  

In 2013 and April 2018 the Saildrive gaiter was replaced . Professional Volvo agent service in January 2020. The yacht has good service history.

Manual backstay adjuster. Seldon gas rod kicker new 2013

Construction

Built in 2002 by Bavaria Yachts to a design by J&J Design.  White GRP hull with style stripes.  Alloy toe rails.  White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck.  Aft self draining cockpit.  Fin keel.  Spade hung rudder.  Wheel steering.. Owned by the current owner for the past seven years. Three previous owners. Last out of the water for hull polish, antifoul and anode change June 2020
