Broker Remarks

Barbican 35 for sale, built in 1989 and one of only six built designed by Holman and Pye. PILGRIM of TAMAR has been in the same ownership for ten years and two previous owners.  Her hull was expoxied from new and re-epoxied in 2004.  Mainly cruised around the West Country.  A very comfortable sailing yacht.  Good in heavy weather conditions.

 This Barbican 35 long keel cruiser with wheel steering and teak side decks.  The engine was overhauled in 2004. Cruising inventory includes, Wind generator, Carbon Fibre whisker pole, in-mast mainsail (for shorthanded sailing), Autopilot, Radar, Wind Pilot Pacific Self steering gear, Baby Stay, pressurised hot water, Avon dinghy and stainless steel beaching legs.

Eye catching lines with an attractive raised bow. Well balanced accommodation below.  A robust solid sea keeping boat.  Hand painted hull.  In need of some tender loving care and updating.

Descending the companionway steps a chart table and navigation area it starboard with a quarterberth running aft. Opposite to port is a practical galley. Two straight settees oppose each other across the saloon and of course make practical sea berths whilst on passage. A walk-thru at the forward end of the saloon has a heads /shower compartment to starboard and practical stowage opposite to port. The forepeak area houses a V berth.
