Broker Remarks
This Bavaria 33 is in excellent condition; she has been in the same ownership since she was new and has therefore been meticulously cared for, the condition of the interior is almost like new.
She has the Volvo Penta MD2020 engine and this has been serviced each season since new, the sails are in good order with crisp canvas and they hold a good sail shape. She has all of the modern comforts that you would expect for a yacht of this era which includes hot water, refrigerator, shorepower and diesel-fired cabin heating, she also benefits from having port and starboard boarding gates!
The vendors have largely used her for coastal cruising around the southwest.
Owners Remarks:
We have owned Ashiki since 2005 when we bought her new, we have always berthed her in Plymouth and sailed in the Southwest.
Ashiki has only been used for short passages each year, as far as Salcombe in the east to Fowey and Falmouth in the West. We have generally only used her two or three times a season to either of the locations mentioned and a few trips to Newton Ferrers. We spend two to three weeks on board per trip and occasional weekend trips to Newton Ferrers.
We never push her more than we need to and never taken out in high winds or big seas.
