This Contention 33 has an ocean pedigree unrivalled by most other yachts in this size range. With ocean passages from South Africa to the UK in 1984 She has been fitted out with safety and security in mind and in addition includes an extensive sail wardrobe, cabin heating, electric windlass and an array of electronics.

The Contention 33 is based on the popular 3/4 ton design of the 70's with offshore sailing in mind. Scherzo will work well as a comfortable cruiser to take you wherever you want to go whilst offering you the opportunity to sail offshore. Scherzo has been widely cruised in the last five years including the West Coast of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Northern Spain among other destinations.
