This Seward 29 is a powerful s9ft semi-displacement all weather motor boat built by Seaward Marine Ltd Cowes, UK. This particular Seward 29 was built by Seaward in 2003 and the joinery was finished by her first owner an experienced joiner in 2006. This motorboat is being offered for sale with twin diesel engines, bow thruster, chart plotter, radar and AIS receiver, diesel cabin heating and heads with holding tank. The vessel is about to be lifted ashore for her annual service. An early viewing is highly recommended. More internal photos to follow shortly. 

Accommodation

The Seaward 29 offers three berths in one cabin, forward cabin with two generous berths with infill to create a double, plus a single berth in the wheelhouse.

The heads is to port with a shower  hand basin and sea toilet with a (0 litre holding tank. The galley opposite to starboard equipped with a Neptune 2 burner hob with oven and grill. Stainless steel sink with mixer tap, pressurised hot and cold supply. Wheelhouse offer full instrumentation display, KAB suspension seats for the helm and navigator, an Isotherm fridge is located under the navigators seat.

Aft of the helm position, is a 3 seater settee that converts to a single berth. Blue upholstery throughout. Heated via an Eberspacher system. Teak and holly flooring. Cockpit, teak laid cockpit sole and seating with hard door access to the wheelhouse, blue cockpit cushions, and sliding window to the wheelhouse.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:

The Seaward 29 is powered by twin 2003 Yanmar 4LH 230hp four cylinder turbocharged engines, indirectly cooled (383 hours as of Feb 2023), last serviced February 2023. Shaft drive to bronze four bladed propellers which are counter rotating, with rope cutters. Twin lever Morse controls. Bow thruster and trim tabs. 2 stainless steel fuel tanks with a capacity of 800 litres. Cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of approximately 22 knots. Last out of water maintenance March 2023.

Electrical Systems:

2 x 12 volt domestic batteries, 2 x 12 volt engine batteries, charging from the engine alternators and 12 volt battery charger with Sterling battery management system. 240 volt shore power connection with 240 volt ring main. Immersion heater also fitted.

History and Construction :

This Seaward 29 built in 2003 has a blue GRP hull and white superstructure and with teak decking. This motorboat was sold originally as a part completed vessel and finished by a very competent joiner and launched in 2006. The vessel has been owned by the current owner since 2019 and he is selling as he is moving back to sailing. "Black Rock" will be taken out of the water at the beginning of March 2023 when she will have her out of water full service including antifoul and anode change.
