Broker Remarks

The Myra Plast 21 is a quality pocket-sized cruiser built by the Scandinavian builders Myra Plast of Norway. They were one of the first boat builders to build in glass fibre and polyester resin. Myra made their name for work and fishing boats which stood them in good stead for the leisure market, as the boats they produced were known for their excellent sea keeping capabilities from the early models in the company's history. These capabilities are evident in the Myra 21 which came to be Myra's most successful and lasting model. It was one of the more popular boats in the 1960s and 1970s in Norway Sweeden and Europe.
This Myra 21 has had an extensive refit in 2012, she has been completely stripped and rebuilt, with a new Lombardini engine, which was professionally installed, including the stern gear. The boat also had new electrics, navigation equipment, upholstery, cockpit and cabin sole boards and cockpit seat tops.

Owners Comments:
Dusky Lady has proved to be an ideal inshore cabin cruiser since we purchased her in February 2011, she received an extensive refit in March/April 2012 to bring her up to a modern standard. This included a complete strip out and rebuild to a professional standard. She has been berthed at Mayflower Marina and received regular maintenance. Unfortunately ill health forces the sale of our much loved Dusky Lady.
