Broker Remarks
This Sigma 33 OOD, for sale in Lymington, is in extremely good condition having been extensively re fitted by her present owners. We very rarely list a yacht that has been so well maintained and updated throughout. Her engine was re built in 2011 and serviced regularly, her sail wardrobe includes full suits of both race and cruising sails. She has new winches, clutches,traveler and running rigging, her standing rigging was surveyed in 2016 and is in perfect condition.
Her electronic systems have all been updated and most of her wiring replaced including having all interior lights replaced by LED ones which are switchable between white and red.
Cosmetically she is immaculate having had her interior wood and surfaces brought back to as new condition. all upholstery has been replaced along with windows and head lining. This all makes for a bright, clean modern interior.
Setup in race mode she is fully Sigma class compliant with a great IRC rating. Ephesian is a proven race winner. When cruising she is stable , easily sailed short handed and benefits from a practical galley with fridge and a large heads with shower and vanity unit. She also has a Webasto heating system and autopilot.
Ephesian is in first class condition throughout and an early viewing is recommended.
Accommodation
A bright forward cabin refurbished with 6in thick foam cushions make a very comfortable master double berth, the saloon has a double a single and a small pilot berth. The quarter berth is surprisingly large. The Sigma 33 provides accommodation for seven crew when racing and four or five in comfort when cruising.
The galley is fresh with new worktops, stainless steel sink and an efficient new Waeco Coolmatic fridge making a practical cooking space when cruising.
Ephesian has a welcoming feel throughout with new white headlining, Led lighting and New upholstery tastefully chosen for good looks as well as purposeful with the addition of protective covers for the use when racing.
All internal wood is in good condition with most of her surfaces having been replaced.
