Prior Coaster 33 Motor Sailer for sale in Lymington. Dawn Bird is a great example of this well respected Motor sailer . Designed by Alan F. Hill and built by R.J. Prior & Sons on Maldon in 1981. She has been well looked after by her owners and has been regularly updated. Coaster 33's have a well deserved reputation for their high quality build. Her well designed hull also gives her the benefit of a good sailing performance . Alan Hill designed a long line of over 120 boats including Claymores and Moody Motor sailers.
Dawn Bird has a well maintained powerful Mercedes engine and a full suite of sails all in good order. The Prior Coaster 33 was designed with long distance cruising in mind. Her deck equipment and ketch rig makes her easy to sail and gives her a good turn of speed . The coaster 33 acommodation is particularly impressive. With excellent standing head room throughout and six large berths, a comfortable saloon and heads combine with a practical galley area to provide a safe , fun environment for the most demanding crew on extended cruises. There is more than adequete storage space in all cabins. This Prior Coaster 33 has been regularly updated , she was expoxied in 2007 and had new windows in 2008 , a new GPS plotter C70 in 09 and a new cooker in 2013.

Accommodation
The Prior Coaster 33 sleeps six in comfort. The forward vee berth cabin can be converted to a double and has storage space and hanging locker. The saloon sits six with plenty of room around a folding table. The twin settees give full length berths on each side with storage space throughout. The rear cabin has twin berths hanging locker and again more storage. The well laided out galley has a new oven ,grill with two burners, stainless steel sink and drainer and storage for extended cruising.
The heads has a folding sink, shower switchable holding tank, and storage units.
