Broker Remarks

A  HUGE PRICE REDUCTION RECENTLY AND THE OWNER IS VERY OPEN TO OFFERS!!
This Hardy Commodore 42 is a very much loved motor yacht; the owners purchased her in 2012. They had an extensive refit carried out at Mylor shipyard in that same year of purchase to further improve seakeeping and comfort, with many equipment additions and complete renewal of interior, and all electronics bought up to date (please read the spec sheet carefully to appreciate this boat)
The refit work totalled more than £140,000 adding plenty of luxuries and cruising necessities to the inventory of the motor yacht.
The Hardy Commodore 42 is only in her second owner from new; the proud owners have been very brand loyal having moved up from a Hardy Commodore 36 and have said that they would not look at another brand as they are so pleased with the quality that Hardy Marine deliver!
The Hardy Commodore 42 has been described by Motorboat & Yachting magazine as 'the serious cruiser's choice' this is a testament to the boat design, performance and sea keeping qualities that Andrew Wolstenholme delivers every time throughout the Hardy range!
She will reach speeds more than 20 knots with ease, yet remain balanced in flat calm or heavy sea conditions.
This is a serious ship that should be top of the list of 42's to view, so contact our sales team today to book a viewing!

Owners Remarks:
Built as Beau Vita in late 2003 this later model Hardy Commodore 42 had a single owner up to August 2012 which is when we purchased her and was meticulously maintained with low running hours (just 440 engine hours).
She was based in Guernsey and cruised locally. The VAT was paid when the boat was purchased by ourselves.
We purchased her from Jersey and heavily upgraded in September 2012 at Mylor Yacht Harbour, with much additional equipment being added to and enhanced.
Electric davits, Furuno Navsuite and stern thruster added. Cutlass bearings and shafts replaced. Swim platform and aft deck modified. She is extremely quiet at all powers with the bonus of sound insulating carpet in the saloon; she is very smooth, a superb sea boat and a joy to handle very precisely in all conditions.
We cruise her each year for a couple of months at a time in South Brittany as well as regular outing along the southwest UK coast throughout the summer, and she is now fully watered and fuelled, engines and generator fully serviced, hull washed, and ready in all repeats for immediate use.
I am happy to conduct personal hand over for the lucky buyer.
