These modern Gaffers have been built since 1973 and are still available as new builds from £83,000. This example lying in Lymington Hampshire is from 2002 and is the best condition Crabber we have seen for several years. She is the first of the re-modeled versions from 2002 which had a much larger saloon volume with greatly increased head room . They are a sturdy safe passage maker with the home comforts of a practical galley and heads cabin. She will sleep 5 and sit 6 adults around the saloon cabin. The galley has a two burner stove with grill and a stainless steel sink with a fresh water pump .
The present owner bought her new in 2002 , she was the Boat show model for that year, and sold her in 2004 but then bought her back in 2011 he liked her so much.
Accommodation
The Cornish Crabber 24 sleeps 5, in an open plan forward double, two berths in the saloon and a full-sized quarter berth.
She has a separate head and a practical galley area. The interior is of quality joinery and gives a warm, secure feeling to the yacht.
