Broker Remarks

This Bavaria 31 is a very well presented and maintained yacht, her condition throughout is extremely good, with little if any wear she really has had very careful owners and she has an excellent specification.
She has a D1-20 18hp diesel engine which has only 546 engine hours, she had the saildrive seal replaced in 2017 and had a full service at the same time. She also benefits from a Side Power bow thruster.
Her sails are also in very good condition with the mainsail very stiff and crispy. There has also been an addition of a new UV strip on the genoa and the genoa also holds good shape with quality canvas.
This Bavaria 31 has a good electronics package which includes chartplotters at both the helm pedestal and the chart table, she also has a Class B AIS transponder which can be linked to multiple devices.
The Bavaria 31 offers a mix of speed and comfort. It has a good sail plan and deep keel which helps to power her along. She is comfortable making passage and internal volume for a 31 foot boat is superb. There is plenty of space for 6 berths and has a generous sized heads with a shower.

Owners Remarks:

Although we have only owned Amelia for a year we have found her to be very comfortable and reliable. She was purchased in Southampton and we sailed to Plymouth over 2 days in less than ideal conditions, but Amelia handled very well the whole time. Subsequent outings have been great fun, with lots of local cruising along the southwest coast. We have used her very regularly, whenever we get time to get away from work we make use of her. It will be sad to see her go, but we are looking for a slightly larger boat as we have are now hooked on boat sailing!
